Heel Luffa Comp Nasal Spray 20ml (known as Luffeel)
Allergies cause a great deal of suffering and inconvenience to those affected. Up to 20% of the population suffers from allergies. Allergic reactions occur when a trigger, such as pollen or dust, induce an exaggerated response by the immune system. While avoidance of triggers makes sense it is not always possible. A better option is to try to stabilise the immune response.

A Randomised Equivalence Trial Comparing the Efficacy and Safety of Luffa comp.-Heel Nasal Spray with Cromolyn Sodium Spray in the Treatment of Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis
M Weiser, LH Gegenheimer, P Klein. Research In Complementary Medicine, Vol. 6, No. 3, 1999, pp 142-148.
146 outpatients with symptoms of hay fever were enrolled in a 42 day randomised, double-blind, equivalence trial. The patient’s received 0.14mL of Luffa-comp. -Heel Nasal Spray four times daily. The results of the study demonstrate a quick and lasting effect, which was independent from the medication applied and produced a nearly complete remission from the hay fever symptoms. Adverse systemic effects did not occur.
The study proved that for the treatment of hay fever, Luffa comp. is as efficient and well tolerated as conventional therapy.
