Bait enhancer, in both hunting and fishing Anise can be sprinkled on lures or bait to attract fish or sprinkled on apples to attract possums. It can also be used as bait for mice, when smeared on traps.

Congestion relief support during winter ills and chills - Essential oil of Anise may be inhaled through the nose to help ease breathing and clear nasal congestion. It can also be added to a basin of hot water for a stronger inhalation.

Natural antiseptic - Dilute 2-3 drops in a teaspoon of Home Essentials Almond Oil and apply as needed.

Head lice and scabies - Anise may help treat and prevent head lice and scabies in children. Make up a blend of an egg cup of Home Essentials Almond Oil and 10 drops of Anise Oil and apply to skin and/or scalp. Do not apply the oil neat. Anise may make skin and scalp more sensitive to sunlight. Protect against sun exposure after treatment.
